Our pet-friendly sanctuary overlooks the Grandview ranges, nearby vineyards and offers a 270 degree panoramic view that will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Location:

Situated a mere 18 minutes from Wanaka or 25 minutes from Cromwell, our haven provides the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. You’ll experience the tranquility of the surrounding landscape whilst being within easy reach of amenities and attractions. The guest house is perfectly situated for guests wanting to escape the hustle and bustle but with easy access to facilities like the Dunstan Cycle Trail, local vineyards (5 minutes walk to the local cellar door), National Transport Museum, local fishing spots etc. A perfect location for exploring what Central Otago has on offer.

You’ll need a car to get around as the property is 18 minutes drive from Wanaka, 25 minutes drive to Cromwell.

Accommodation:

This stunning retreat boasts modern interiors and amenities including a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living area with large windows framing the picturesque landscape. Our guest house has been built to an extremely high specification with oodles of insulation, triple glazed windows and a heating/ventilation system that will ensure you are comfortable year round.

The kitchen includes an oven, induction hob, microwave, dish drawer dishwasher and all cooking utensils. Basics including salt, pepper, olive oil are provided and of course tea, coffee, sugar and milk to last the first few days of your stay.

A washing machine and provided washing powder are available making longer stays a breeze.

Bathroom facilities include heated towel rails and underfloor heating. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toilet paper to last the first few days of your stay are provided. A hair dryer is provided.

There is unlimited internet access available for using with your streaming services or for video calling.

Breakfast:

We provide breakfast options. These may vary but generally you can expect Bread, Eggs, Cereals, Toast spreads and Orange juice.

Outdoor Delights:

Relax in style on our expansive patio or take a dip in the over sized luxurious outdoor bathtub while soaking in the breathtaking views of the Grandview mountain ranges and surrounding vineyards or the stunning night skies. Whether sipping wine at sunset, enjoying a BBQ or stargazing at night, our outdoor spaces offer a captivating experience. We have a telescope that guests are welcome to borrow on request.

The guest house is positioned with an aspect to ensure your privacy.

Pet-Friendly:

We understand the importance of including your furry friends in your getaway. Our property is pet-friendly and fully fenced, ensuring a relaxed stay for both you and your beloved companion. We do request that pets are not allowed on the furniture or left shut inside the guest house unattended (unless in a crate). If you are likely to be away and leaving your fur-baby behind, our preference is that they are left outside, we’re happy to check in on them on request.

Local experiences:

Explore nearby vineyards (check our guest manual for recommendations), embark on scenic hikes and bike rides. There’s something for everyone in this vibrant and captivating region.

We are 40 mins to both Cardrona and Treble Cone ski areas.

Other Information:

You have full access to the self- contained guest house and fully fenced yard area. We live onsite in a separate building. The buildings are quite separate and your privacy is ensured.

We are happy to interact with you as little or as much as you like. Our default will be to assume you would like privacy.

We both work full time, one of us works from home and generally there is likely to be someone available most of the time if required.

Contact us if you would like to borrow the telescope or have us check in on your furry friend if you are out and about for the day.

Note that we keep a small dog onsite. He is kept in a separate fenced area.
